Event Description
Community InReach proudly launched the Early Financial Education Initiative, created to empower the youth of Waterbury, CT with essential financial knowledge and long-term money management skills.
In partnership with TD Bank, this initiative provides hands-on financial literacy resources to help young people make informed decisions and build a foundation for financial independence.
During this fun, activity-filled community day, every youth between the ages of 0–22 received a “From the Community” financial support check through Community InReach and was given the opportunity to open their own bank account with the guidance of a TD Bank representative.
TD Bank also committed to depositing $50 into each new child’s account after 90 days.
